Host Bar / Cash Bar Blend

Host pays for set up and some drinks - guests pay for what's over and above budget.

 

The set up of the bar is host paid. The beverages are paid for by the guest.

*This plan is frequently used for times when a host wants to have mixed drinks available, but would like to pay for only a portion of the bar, such as beer and wine. This way everyone will have their favorite mixed drink available, it's just that the host won't be paying for it.

 

Examples

You want bar service but need to stay within a budget. You decide to buy 2 kegs of beer. You want to have mixed drinks and wine available. You can add a cashier who charges only for the mixed drinks and wine. From a guest perspective the draft beer is provided, but wine and mixed drinks will have to be purchased.
